Chelsea have confirmed the exits of both Lesley Ugochukwu and Marc Guiu. It continues a late-window effort to clear the fringes of Enzo Maresca's squad with the season just around the corner.
Ugochukwu has departed permanently, joining Burnley for around £20million, whilst Guiuwill spend the year at Sunderland on loan. Armando Broja is expected to follow Ugochukwu to Turf Moor.
The pair will make it three going from Stamford Bridge to Burnley this summer after academy graduate Bashir Humphreys made his own loan into a sale upon gaining promotion. Chelsea are likely to add £20million for Broja as well, which could take their total incomings this week to more than £65million.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was announced as an Everton player on Wednesday. When the Broja deal is sealed, it will take Chelsea's sales to more than £235million for the window as a whole.
Noni Madueke and Joao Felix are the most lucrative of those with a possible £98million between them if all add-ons are met. Djordje Petrovic, Mathis Amougou, Ishe Samuels-Smith, and Kepa Arrizabalaga have all left as well.
This has not only reduced the size of Maresca's unwanted playing group but also offset some giant spending which is set to continue. Chelsea are also hopeful of banking significant funds from Carney Chukwuemeka, who is in talks with Borussia Dortmund.
Raheem Sterling, Axel Disasi, and Ben Chilwell are the other senior players of interest who still need to be removed from the books. This could help Chelsea in their attempts to land Xavi Simons and Alejandro Garnacho in the final few weeks before the September 1 deadline.
One name who Chelsea may now have to consider is Renato Veiga. He had been close to moving to Atletico Madrid but a transfer fell through.
With the news that Levi Colwill has picked up an injury in training, Chelsea's centre-back options remain in a state of flux. Colwill had played almost all of last season as a starter but his back-up, Benoit Badiashile, has struggled for fitness.
When available, Wesley Fofana was the preferred partner but has again continued to miss large periods whilst in the treatment room. Fofana is back in pre-season preparations with his teammates at Cobham.
Chelsea have addressed their left-sided defensive depth with the signing of Jorrel Hato. He is only 19 but is able to play at full-back or in the middle.
Tosin Adarabioyo, Josh Acheampong, and Trevoh Chalobah complete a strong set for Maresca to choose from. However, with lingering concerns around Badiashile and Fofana, should the Colwill injury be a bad one, it could lead to Chelsea returning to the market again.
They have settled throughout the summer but remained open to the idea of a new centre-back. Marc Guehi and Ousmane Diomande are among the previous targets.
This adds a sense of serious jeopardy to the remaining month. Chelsea are still engaging with RB Leipzig over bringing in Xavi Simons despite a delay in getting the deal over the line. Simons has a broad agreement over personal terms with Chelsea, which are not going to be an issue, although there is still progress to be made over the fee.
Garnacho is a player who has never gone off the radar and may well go down to the wire as Chelsea ponder taking advantage of Manchester United's financial need to sell.Benjamin Sesko's insistence on going to Old Trafford appears to shut the door for Nicolas Jackson going there but Newcastle United could yet make an offer.
Chelsea would consider bids for Jackson at the right price with Newcastle keen to bring in a new striker in case Alexander Isak leaves. The transfer dominoes are in place to keep on falling now, and Maresca did not block the exit of Jackson on Thursday.
Speaking ahead of friendlies against Bayer Leverkusen and Milan at Stamford Bridge, the head coach said: “Nico is okay. When the window is open, anything can happen. This includes Nico's situation. At the moment, two new strikers have arrived. So we will see."
As ever, Chelsea remain active and alert in the window and could yet find themselves doing more business outside of Simons should the pieces be in place for Garnacho or another centre-back. In the words of Maresca, we will see.
