CBIC Recruitment 2025: Young people preparing for government jobs have a great opportunity to get a job in the Customs Department. The Customs Commissioner's Office has announced new recruitment for positions such as Tradesman and Seaman. The advertisement has been released, and the application process has begun on November 8th.

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) will recruit candidates for Group C posts in the Marine Wing through this recruitment drive. The application window for this vacancy will remain open until December 15, 2025. You can apply anytime until then.

Eligibility for Customs Department Jobs
To apply for the Tradesman position in the Customs Department, candidates must have an ITI certificate in Mechanic/Diesel/Fitter/Turner/Welder/Electrician/Instrument/Carpentry. A 10th-grade or equivalent qualification is required, along with 2 years of work experience in an engineering/automobile/ship repair organization.

Seaman and Greaser require a 10th-grade qualification, but must also have 3 years of relevant experience. For the Senior Storekeeper position, a 10th-grade pass qualification with 8 years of storekeeping experience is required. Age Limit for Jobs in the Customs Department
Age Limit: Candidates should not exceed 25-30 years of age, depending on the position.
Salary: Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹92,300 per month as per the 7th CPC.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected through a written examination, a PET, and a medical fitness test.

How to Apply?
The Customs Department recruitment will accept applications offline. Therefore, you will not find a registration link on the online website. To apply, you must print out the application form from the recruitment notification. Fill in all your information with a pen. Affix a passport-sized photograph in the appropriate place.

Enter your mobile number, Aadhaar card, and date of birth correctly. Attach your 10th-grade marksheet, experience certificate, age proof, Aadhaar card, caste certificate, EWS certificate, and other documents along with the application form and submit it to the Customs Commission.
