UPSSSC: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) will conduct the written examination for recruitment to the posts of Junior Assistant, Junior Clerk, and Assistant Grade 3 on 29 June 2024 (Saturday). This examination will be conducted at the examination centers set up in selected districts across the state.
It will be mandatory for the candidates appearing in the examination to follow the necessary guidelines issued by the Commission. Candidates will get detailed information about the admit card, time, documents, and rules applicable at the center related to the examination on the official website upsssc.gov.in.
Exam time, pattern, and negative marking rule
This examination will be conducted on 29 June 2024 from 10 am to 12 noon. It will be of objective type, in which a total of 100 questions will be asked. Candidates will get 120 minutes (2 hours) to solve these questions. All the questions will be multiple choice and the language of the examination can be bilingual (Hindi and English).
There is also a provision for negative marking in the exam. If a question is answered incorrectly or more than one option is chosen, then one-fourth of the marks of that question will be deducted. In such a situation, it will be necessary for the candidates to choose the option carefully while answering.

This exam is being conducted in a total of 21 districts of Uttar Pradesh. The major cities in which examination centers have been set up include Lucknow, Kanpur Nagar, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Saharanpur, Bijnor, Bareilly, Moradabad, Agra, Mathura, Aligarh, Azamgarh, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Ambedkar Nagar, Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Jaunpur, Jhansi and Bulandshahr.

On the day of the examination, the candidates must follow some important instructions so that the examination can be completed without any interruption. Take special care of the things given below:
Report to the examination center at least 1 hour in advance so that the admission process can be completed on time.
No candidate will be allowed entry without a valid admit card and government photo identity card (ID proof).
Carry all the necessary documents required by the Commission, such as a passport-size photo, copy of admit card and photocopy of identity card.
Bringing mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, earphones, pen drives or any electronic device to the examination center is strictly prohibited.
Strict action can be taken for bringing any kind of cheating material, paper, books or notes.
Wear light and plain clothes without pockets or metal items.
Indiscipline, conversation, or other inappropriate behavior during the examination can lead to disqualification from the examination.
