Srinagar: Former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Farooq Abdullah, on Sunday said that if NIA has caught the right people in the Pahalgam attack case, then it would help us expose the people who were behind this dastardly act.
Abdullah, who is the president of the ruling National Conference, told reporters here that since they have been arrested, "we would come to know who the alleged attackers were and where they came from. If they (NIA) have got the right people we will get to know who carried out the attack. It is a very good thing for us that gradually we will reach those who carried out the Pahalgam attack," said Abdullah.
NC has maintained that despite the normalcy claims by the central government, attacks like those in Pahalgam have taken place which put the current dual control in the Union Territory, where security and law and order is under the Raj Bhavan and not the elected government, under question.
