Actress Kajal Pisal, recently seen portraying Tanuja Bose in the television drama Jhanak, celebrated her birthday in the warm company of her former co-stars. The celebration turned into a mini-reunion for the original Jhanak cast, with actors Poorva Gokhale, Sachin Verma, Patrali Chattopadhyay, Ajoy Chakraborty, Reena Pimpale, and Sunny Sachdeva joining in. The event also saw the presence of Vibhuti Thakur, Sapna Sikarwar, and Angshuma Saika, adding more joy to the star-studded evening.
The actress, glowing and grateful, spoke about her birthday resolution: “My birthday resolution is all about setting aside time for activities that promote well-being and personal growth. This could include prioritizing rest, engaging in hobbies, practicing mindfulness, or making healthier lifestyle choices. Ultimately, the goal is to find activities that nurture my mind, body, and spirit, leading to a more fulfilling and balanced life. I also look for new and promising work. I guess I'm ready to be back on sets.”
Reflecting on her reunion with the Jhanak cast, she added, “It was an amazing time with them. We became like family and we all are looking for new sunshine, but our relationship remains the same. We have our WhatsApp group and we all stay connected. Meeting them was refreshing and fun-filled. We all enjoyed our time.”
Following her exit from the show — which recently took a dramatic 20-year leap — Kajal took time off for herself and travelled to Sri Lanka. “It was a long time. I was craving for a trip and decided to explore Sri Lanka. Exploring as a solo traveler, Sri Lanka offers a fantastic opportunity to experience its diverse landscapes, rich culture, and warm hospitality,” she shared.
Kajal Pisal, also known for roles in Sirf Tum, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, and Naagin, is ready for her next exciting chapter — both on and off screen.
