The BBC has announced the return of Peaky Blinders with two new seriess.
The much-loved drama will return with a bang to the BBC and Netflix, telling the story of a new generation of Shelbys, from writer and creator Steven Knight.
The two new series will be once again filmed in the heart of Birmingham at Digbeth Loc. Studios.
Peaky Blinders' sixth series ended in 2022 with Tommy Shelby beginning a new life away from the criminal underworld. The mob boss discovered his terminal cancer diagnosis was a hoax and said goodbye to his family as he moved on from his murky past to a brighter new future.
The next steps of Thomas Shelby - played by Cillian Murphy - will be seen in Netflix movie The Immortal man, starring the Irish actor alongside Stephen Graham and Barry Keoghan, with filming wrapped in December.

While fans await for the next instalment, today's announcement from the BBC marks a new era of Steven Knight’s Peaky Blinders.
The upcoming series will be set in Birmingham in 1953, when the city is building a future out of concrete and steel after the Second World War.

Once again it will be rooted in Birmingham and will tell the story of a city rising from the ashes of the Birmingham blitz. The new generation of Shelbys have taken the wheel and it will be a hell of a ride.”

The two new series, both 6 x 60, are Kudos and Garrison Drama productions for BBC iPlayer and BBC One in the UK and for Netflix globally. Steven Knight is the series writer and creator. The executive producers are Steven Knight, Cillian Murphy, Karen Wilson and Martin Haines for Kudos, Jamie Glazebrook for Garrison Drama, Jo McClellan and Danielle Scott Haughton for the BBC and Mona Qureshi and Toby Bentley for Netflix.
Production for the two new series of Peaky Blinders is supported by the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) and is the first commission following the new BBC partnership agreement with the WMCA and Create Central to expand BBC and partner production investment in the West Midlands.
