Spoilers for the next episode of EastEnders have teased "drama" in the fallout to Zoe Slater's secrets coming to light.
Max Branning's return, their secret link and Zoe's baby heartache all came to light in flashbacks and present day twists on Wednesday. As Zoe fought for her life after a shooting, she hinted to mum Kat Moon she was in huge trouble and someone was after her.
Talking about someone "being alive", assuming she thought they had died, Kat realised Zoe was a mum. Flashbacks detailed that Zoe had welcomed twins back in 2006, hinting she was pregnant when she left the soap in 2005 while this is not confirmed.
Of course fans will be confused given Zoe left the year prior to Max debuting on the BBC soap in 2006. With questions needing answering, spoilers for Thursday's episode have hinted the drama isn't over, and we might learn more.

According to the rather cryptic information, it's said more details will be shared to viewers and more will come to light in the episode about what Zoe's been hiding.
After we found out what went on in the 20 years she was away from Walford, it seems, amid Zoe fighting for her life, the episode will explain things a bit more.
We're set to find out more about Zoe's past, with the line reading: "As the drama continues, more information comes to light about what has happened in Zoe’s life since she has been away from Walford."
Whether Zoe survives the horror shooting at the hands of Ravi Gulati and Jack Branning remains to be seen. Whether Max will pop up on screen again also is being kept under wraps.

Next week's spoilers don't give much away so for now, Thursday's episode will be the last of the details and any more bombshells for this week. Fans will be thrilled to learn it will drop in BBC iPlayer in the morning as usual, before it airs on TV on Thursday evening.
That wasn't the case for Wednesday's episode that was kept off iPlayer until it aired in the evening, meaning they were on both platforms at the same time. For the first time in a while fans did not get a preview ahead of transmission, so everyone had to watch at the same time.
As to preserve the big twists, bosses decided to keep it off iPlayer with this last happening during the 40th anniversary week in February.
Viewers will have to tune in on Thursday and beyond to find out Zoe's fate, as well as what else she's been hiding if anymore secrets are under wraps.
