'Heavenly' £27 heated blanket shoppers say 'keeps your bills down'

Shoppers are heaping praise on an electric heated blanket they say "keeps your bills down." The product has been labelled "beautiful" and "heavenly", while others said it is a "lifesaver" during cold snaps.

The OHS Electric Heated Teddy Fleece Under-Blanket is from homeware retailerOnline Home Shop and comes in white. It is currently available on Amazonfor £26.99, and is usually available in single, double and kingsize, though most are now sold out.

The heated blanket is 60 x 135cm and is made with 100% polyester. It comes with three heat settings, a removable remote and detachable wire, and can be machine washed at 30°C.

The OHS Electric Heated Teddy Fleece Under-Blanket has recieved rave reviews online, on the OHS site as well as Amazon. Among them, one person said: "This is a must buy, it is cosy. On low I found that I could have it on all night if I had needed (but didn't).

"Finding it cheap to run and as a pensioner on her own with no heating allowance any longer it is a life saver. All I can say is buy, buy, buy."

A second wrote: "Love this and with the cold snap it has been a lifesaver. I got the double but I would recommend the kingsize for full coverage However, I am extremely happy with this and now my bed is cosy and toasty."

However, some shoppers claimed the sizing of the product was on the small side. One person said: "Good for the price but could have been bigger should have ordered a KS to fit a double bed."
