A raging husband murdered his ex-wife with a shotgun in front of horrified patients at a hospital.
Chillingsurveillance footage showed the moment Atilla Ayintapli, 44, hid the powerful firearm in a blue plastic bag as he strolled into a private hospital in Kahramanmaraş, Turkey.
He then entered an office space in the building and started trying to grab his ex-partner Eser Karaca, 42, who worked there as a medical secretary. The mother-of-two and a colleague sprinted away from him, but he gave chase and could be seen reaching into the bag as he ran after her.
Terrified colleagues could be seen running in the opposite direction. The footage then cuts to another security camera which shows Ayintapli cornering Eser as she raises her hands to try to protect her head as the gunman fired shots into her torso.

She then slumps to the ground, but Ayintapli wasn't done, letting off another two rounds before fleeing the scene on foot. Members of staff discovered the mother's body, with one man holding his head in his hands and turning away after seeing it.
As he fled, Atintapli chucked the weapon on the ground in the hospital entrance. On the morning of her death, Eser had filed for a fourth restraining order against her violent husband. She was shot before officials were able to serve him with the order.
Turkish police tracked him down and arrested him a short time later. On interrogation, he confessed to killing his ex-wife and he was transferred to the courthouse. It is the most recent in a long list of horrific femicide cases to grip Turkey in recent years.
In August, Turkey's highest court ruled that a man can have a reduced sentence for murdering a woman if she "provoked him by refusing to have sex".
Serkan Dindar killed Ceyda Yüksel in his apartment, in the Barbaros neighbourhood of Izmir, after the pair met online and went to a bar. The pair then headed to Dindar's home, and were witnessed by neighbours arguing in the street, on August 20, 2020. Security footage reportedly showed Dindar trying to hug and kiss Ceyda, who pulled away and distanced herself.
Dindar was also seen struggling to stand while an argument between them erupted, and continued inside his ground-floor flat.
As the row continued, Dindar grabbed Ceyda and slammed her against the door with so much force the glass of the living room door shattered. He then forced her head and chest into the shards of the doorway and then violently pulled her back, apparently ripping off her right arm.
Police arrived to the home at around 1am that night, following reports of glass breaking and shouting. Cops found Ceyda dead inside the apartment.
