Shoppers are being pressed to spend as little as 50p in this month, to avoid a costly deadline. Around 20 million customers are currently signed up to the supermarket giant's Clubcard loyalty scheme, saving them money on dual-priced items.
Tesco Clubcard also allows Brits to collect one point for every , as well as one point for every two litres of fuel they purchase. Each Clubcard points works out at 1p in Tesco, so 200 points can knock £2 off your shop. You need a minimum of 150 points to get a Clubcard voucher, which will be worth £1.50 to spend at Tesco.
Vouchers are issued out every three months (February, May, August and November) and remain valid for two years. This means a huge batch is slated to expire in just two weeks (Saturday, May 31).

"Your Clubcard vouchers are expiring soon," the supermarket emailed select customers. "Don't forget to use them on your next shop." This time last year, around £17 million of Clubcard vouchers were nearing their expiry date, so it's worth checking if yours are still in date.
If you want to hold onto your vouchers to use later in the year (for example, around time) there is a little-known loophole to extend their lifespan. All you have to do is make a small purchase on the Tesco Clubcard Rewards webpage (this could be as little as 50p) and your remaining Clubcard voucher balance will then be credited back to you as points.
You'll then receive the voucher equivalent of your remaining points when Tesco next issues you a Clubcard statement. Again, this will then be valid for two years.
However, you will need to do this for every voucher that you have, meaning it may not be worth your while for smaller amounts. Alternatively, you can double your voucher's worth by using them with a 'Reward Partner' such as Pizza Express or Thorpe Park.
"You can sign in to your Clubcard account on the Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app or at Tesco.com to manage your vouchers," Tesco states on its website. "The vouchers you haven't used yet are listed first, with details of their expiry dates. You can also see the vouchers you have used, along with details of when and how you used them."
