A woman says she was kicked out of the breakfast area at the Hilton Hotel for going downstairs in an "inappropriate" outfit.
Saffron, who posts on TikTokas @saffronmariexx, showed off the offending outfit. It included a matching satin-look pair of structured pyjamas and flip-flops. In another video, she explained that she was staying in the hotel for some "self-care," but she was stunnedwhen she was turned away from the breakfast buffet at around 7:30am.
Saffron said: "When I got there, I was told I was dressed inappropriately." She slammed the decision as "absolutely ridiculous" and insisted she looked "cuter than everyone there".

To get back into breakfast, she "quickly got changed". However, she admitted her shorts were shorter on the second outfit she wore. In a video explaining the situation, she laughed: "The second outfit was actually worse than the first one."
In the comments, people were left asking: "Why would you wear pyjamas to breakfast?"
Someone wrote: "Nowhere allows it due to upholding a certain look. Some places even turn you away for wearing sliders."
Another wasn't impressed by Saffron's behaviour, writing: "You get dressed to go to a restaurant."
A fourth argued: "It’s a luxury hotel, so they have high standards, and wearing PJS is a no-no."
Some even accused Saffron of being "lazy and entitled" and told her to "have some dignity" rather than going out in the clothes she'd slept in all night.
Other people defended Saffron, though. One said: "I don’t get why people are saying ‘why would you wear pajamas’ it’s legit a breakfast in a hotel".
Another agreed: "It makes no sense that hotels frown upon it, you're still dressed."
While it's not clear which exact branch of Hilton Saffron was staying at, dress codes vary from place to place. Most uphold at least a smart casual look.
Smart casual is a dress code that blends well-fitting, polished pieces with elements of casual style. It’s less formal than business attire but more put-together than everyday casual wear.
For men, this might mean wearing chinos or tailored trousers with a button-down shirt or a neat polo, possibly adding a blazer but skipping the tie.
For women, smart casual could include a blouse or a smart top with dress pants or a skirt, or even a simple dress paired with flats or low heels.
The overall look should be tidy, coordinated, and presentable, avoiding overly casual items like ripped jeans, graphic T-shirts, or athletic wear.
Based on this, it would be safe to assume that breakfast had a more 'casual' vibe as Saffron was allowed to wear shorts, but pyjamas are frowned upon.
The Hilton have been approached for comment.
