Jammu: Terrorist killed in Rajori's Keri sector, infiltration attempt failed; area cordoned off and search operation underway..

On Tuesday morning, the army killed one of the terrorists trying to infiltrate Pakistan in the Barat Gala area of Keri sector of Rajouri. The number of terrorists is said to be three to four. As soon as the alert soldiers started firing, the other terrorists fled away. The body of the killed terrorist is lying near the Line of Control.

According to sources, between 8 and 9 in the morning, the Indian Army saw suspicious movement across the LoC in the Barat Gala area. As soon as the infiltration attempt was detected, the alert soldiers started firing.

According to military sources, the Pakistani army also tried to lift the body of the terrorist killed in the evening, but the soldiers foiled this attempt by firing. The body is lying on the Zero Line of Control.

Search operation by cordoning off the area

After foiling the terrorist infiltration, the army has started a search operation by cordoning off the entire area on a large scale. The army has appealed to the local people to immediately inform the army if they see any suspicious person anywhere.
