A Manchester Arena bombing survivor was among the football fans who were hit by a car yesterday during the Liverpool Victory Parade. A day of celebration turned into horror as a car reportedly ploughed into a crowd of Liverpool football fans and injured 47 people, including four children, on Monday, May 26.
A white 53-year-old man from the Liverpool area was arrested just after 6pm, said on Monday. A survivor of the Manchester Arena bombing, Frankie, told the Mail: "I was at the Manchester Arena incident. I don't want to go out again." The 24-year-old added: "The side of the car went into me and I fell to the floor. It's all a blur. I've got cuts and bruises and I'll be fine but there's loads who have got more severe injuries."

Twenty-seven people, including four children, were taken to hospital, and two suffered serious injuries, the North West Ambulance Service has confirmed. Another 20 were treated at the scene.
Terrifying videos online showed fans being thrown across the bonnet of the car and people screaming in horror. Tens of thousands had turned out in the city centre to celebrate the team's Premier League win.
Police swarmed the large grey people carrier after it came to a stop and attempted to hold fans back from trying to get into the car.
When emergency services arrived, four people were trapped under the vehicle, including one child, the fire service said. They said the vehicle was rapidly removed so the injured could receive treatment.

Football supporter Harry Rashid said he was 10 feet away from the vehicle during the terrifying scene. The 48-year-old said: "We were just in a crowd and we had no control over where we would be, because it was a very narrow street."
He claimed the car emerged right next to a parked ambulance travelling south down Water Street, heading towards The Strand which is where the docks are.
Merseyside Police are leading the investigation and were initially supported by counter-terrorism police. The incident is not being treated as a terrorist incident by police.
