Putin crony threatens to bury US under 'radioactive tsunami' as fears of WW3 explode

A leading Vladimir Putin propagandist has threatened the USA with a "nuclear tsunami" that will "blow the country to hell" in a vicious rant on Russian television. Throughout the Ukraine war, Putin has repeatedly engaged in nuclear sabre-rattling in an attempt to deter Western countries from providing military support to Ukraine.

In recent weeks, the Kremlin has stepped up its threats of launching nuclear armageddon, with a series of hysterical threats to wipe out Western countries. The US has now become the latest target of Putin's atomic wrath, as the US Senate weighs up a new sanctions package aimed at crippling the Russian economy.

Kremlin mouthpiece and Putin apparatchik Vladimir Solovyev launched a stinging diatribe against Trump's America during one of his TV programmes.

"The US imposes sanctions against Russia. Secondary sanctions," he fumed.

"By the way are there sanctions against the strait named after comrade Stalin? Does anyone know how the sanctions regime affects Poseidon's (torpedo) work?

"Just wondering, doesn't it say anywhere 'we order Poseidon not to raise counter radioactive tsunamis that will blow the entire continental United States of America to hell, leaving only...? No?

"It's not spelled out anywhere on the Senate sanctions list? No? Well that's right.

"There should be no illusions, none at all. You want to destroy Russia? I will remind you once again - why do we need a world if Russia is not in it."

Russia produced the first set of nuclear-powered, very long-range, nuclear-armed torpedoes known as Poseidon in 2023.

Strategic experts have warned that the Poseidon torpedo would have the potential to devastate a coastal city, cause radioactive floods, and result in millions of deaths.

The torpedo is designed to be launched from submarines and is expected to be fully deployed by 2027.

Solovyov appeared to be taking aim at a US Senate bill designed to force Russia into serious peace negotiations.

Senator Lindsey Graham, a close Trump ally, has been drumming up Congressional support for a new set of sanctions against Russia, which he has described as "bone crushing" - if Putin continues to drag his feet over a Ukrainian ceasefire deal.

The sanctions bill includes a 500% tariff on imports into the US from countries that buy Russian oil, petroleum products, natural gas or uranium.
